This cording works great for making your own poms. You can give a good tug on it when closing your poms without it breaking. It is also thin enough so that you can still sew on snaps to the pom if you'd like, but thick enough to tie a pom onto a beanie with a button. The ends of the cording will not unravel either ... no need to seal the ends!
